Incoming students

How to apply as Erasmus student?

for STUDY
  1. First you should contact the Erasmus Coordinator or the International Relations Office at your home institution and take part in the Erasmus recruitment process.
  2. Having been accepted as an exchange student of Erasmus programme by your own university, you should check courses are offered in English at the faculty you would like apply to (see: "Courses in English").
  3. Next you should download and fill in the application forms: "Application Forms", collect signatures and stamps and then send all the paperwork to the Academic Exchange Office of the University of Bielsko-Biala. These application forms should be submitted to the AEO by the deadline of: for the winter semester - 1st June, for the summer semester - 1st December.
  4. In order to receive relevant and up-to-date information about the courses you have chosen or other didactic issues, contact the Coordinator of the faculty at which you will be studying and the AEO officer in case you have any problems concerning administrative affairs (see "Contacts").
  5. Note that we do not consider your application complete until we have received all the necessary documents together with some other paperwork (the copy of your ID document/passport - along with the documents, and the copy of the health insurance - before the arrival).
  6. Once we have received your documents, they have to be formally approved on our part.
  7. When they are signed, we will send you a Letter of Acceptance.
  8. Once you have your Letter of Acceptance, you should make arrangements for your arrival as soon as possible.

for PLACEMENT

We would also like to invite you to undergo training as part of the Erasmus programme at our university. The training may take place in various organizational units (at the department/faculty or interdepartamental units).
The training programme is adapted to the needs of each student, depending on the object of the training and the field of studies.
  1. Having been granted permission to undergo a training programme abroad, you need to contact the Academic Exchange Office or directly the coordinator of a given faculty in order to arrange the training at our institution (see "Contacts").
  2. Then a detailed training programme and schedule is prepared, involving all the elements required and necessary for performing the Training Agreement.
  3. Next you should download and fill in the application forms: "Application forms", collect signatures and stamps and send all the paperwork to the University of Bielsko-Biala.
  4. Once we have received your documents, they have to be formally approved on our part.
  5. When they are signed, we will send you a Letter of Acceptance.
  6. Then you should make arrangements for your arrival.
